The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with El Gadeeda plotted against Ash Sharqiyah and Egypt. The SNDi of new construction in El Gadeeda rose steadily, compared to Ash Sharqiyah which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Egypt which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, El Gadeeda's incremental SNDi rose from 3.01 to 4.15 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, El Gadeeda ranked 10th out of 28 cities in Ash Sharqiyah and 56th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.
