The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Abyūhā plotted against Al Minya and Egypt. While Al Minya and Egypt both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Abyūhā's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Abyūhā's incremental SNDi rose from 8.3 to 8.41 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Abyūhā ranked 23rd out of 24 cities in Al Minya and 208th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.

In new street additions, Abyūhā and Chinnalapatti both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Xiaodong built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Abyūhā and Xiaodong both became progressively more disconnected, while Chinnalapatti fluctuated in connectivity.
