The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Sadat plotted against Al Minufiyah and Egypt. The SNDi of new construction in Sadat peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Al Minufiyah which rose steadily and Egypt which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Sadat's incremental SNDi fell from 2.54 to 1.93 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Sadat ranked 1st out of 15 cities in Al Minufiyah and 14th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.

In new street additions, Sadat built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Obudu built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Elx / Elche built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Looking at the full network, Obudu and Elx / Elche both became progressively more disconnected, while Sadat grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Sadat and Obudu have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
