The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Dusuq plotted against Al Buhayrah and Egypt. The SNDi of new construction in Dusuq rose steadily, compared to Al Buhayrah which peaked in 1976-1990 and Egypt which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Dusuq's incremental SNDi rose from 3.76 to 5.07 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Dusuq ranked 10th out of 13 cities in Al Buhayrah and 108th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.

In new street additions, Dusuq built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Lenasia built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Dujiangyan fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Dusuq became progressively more disconnected, while Lenasia became progressively more connected and Dujiangyan fluctuated in connectivity. Dusuq and Lenasia have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
