The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Al-Mahmudiya plotted against Al Buhayrah and Egypt. While Al Buhayrah and Egypt both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Al-Mahmudiya's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Al-Mahmudiya's incremental SNDi rose from 3.19 to 4.31 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Al-Mahmudiya ranked 9th out of 13 cities in Al Buhayrah and 95th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.
