The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Dundet plotted against Ad Daqahliyah and Egypt. The SNDi of new construction in Dundet rose steadily, compared to Ad Daqahliyah which peaked in 1991-2005 and Egypt which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Dundet's incremental SNDi rose from 2.54 to 3.43 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Dundet ranked 7th out of 22 cities in Ad Daqahliyah and 27th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.

In new street additions, Dundet and Ekenobizi both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Huai'an built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Dundet and Huai'an have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
