The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Atmeeda plotted against Ad Daqahliyah and Egypt. The SNDi of new construction in Atmeeda rose steadily, compared to Ad Daqahliyah which peaked in 1991-2005 and Egypt which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Atmeeda's incremental SNDi rose from 3.17 to 4.01 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Atmeeda ranked 10th out of 22 cities in Ad Daqahliyah and 48th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.

While Tukzar and Santo Domingo Tehuantepec both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Atmeeda built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Atmeeda became progressively more disconnected, while Tukzar became progressively more connected and Santo Domingo Tehuantepec grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Atmeeda and Tukzar have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
