The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Puerto Hondo plotted against Guayas and Ecuador. The SNDi of new construction in Puerto Hondo rose steadily, compared to Guayas which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Ecuador which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease. Most recently, Puerto Hondo's incremental SNDi rose from 4.43 to 4.67 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Puerto Hondo ranked 4th out of 4 cities in Guayas and 33rd out of 34 in Ecuador as of 2020.
