The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Baní plotted against Peravia and Dominican Republic. The SNDi of new construction in Baní followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Peravia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Dominican Republic which rose steadily. Most recently, Baní's incremental SNDi rose from 2.41 to 3.52 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Baní ranked 1st out of 1 cities in Peravia and 10th out of 17 in Dominican Republic as of 2020.

In new street additions, Baní fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Chaling built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Luyi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Baní became progressively more disconnected, while Chaling grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Luyi became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Notably, Baní had a more connected network than Luyi in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
