- Tonekabon, Iran
- Al Hoceima, Morocco
- Zhenhai District, China
- Keighley, United Kingdom
- La Orotava, Spain
- Bonab, Iran
Yata, Tonekabon, and Keighley all built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street construction. The same pattern holds for the full street network. Notably, Yata had a more connected network than Keighley in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
