The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Basoko plotted against Tshopo and Democratic Republic of the Congo. All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Basoko's incremental SNDi rose from 2.49 to 7.31 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Basoko ranked 1st out of 5 cities in Tshopo and 45th out of 186 in Democratic Republic of the Congo as of 2020.

In new street additions, Basoko fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Yongding fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and N'guigmi built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Basoko became progressively more disconnected, while Yongding fluctuated in connectivity and N'guigmi became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Basoko and Yongding have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
