The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bafwasende plotted against Tshopo and Democratic Republic of the Congo. The SNDi of new construction in Bafwasende rose steadily, compared to Tshopo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Democratic Republic of the Congo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bafwasende's incremental SNDi rose from 4.16 to 4.71 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bafwasende ranked 2nd out of 5 cities in Tshopo and 64th out of 186 in Democratic Republic of the Congo as of 2020.

In new street additions, Bafwasende and Focșani both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Ganpatganj fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Bafwasende and Focșani both became progressively more disconnected, while Ganpatganj fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Bafwasende had a more connected network than Focșani in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
