The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kongolo plotted against Tanganyika and Democratic Republic of the Congo. The SNDi of new construction in Kongolo rose steadily, compared to Tanganyika which peaked in 1991-2005 and Democratic Republic of the Congo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Kongolo's incremental SNDi rose from 4.0 to 4.68 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kongolo ranked 9th out of 10 cities in Tanganyika and 126th out of 186 in Democratic Republic of the Congo as of 2020.

In new street additions, Kongolo and Lop Buri both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Domariaganj built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Kongolo and Lop Buri both became progressively more disconnected, while Domariaganj became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Notably, Kongolo had a more connected network than Domariaganj in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
