The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Lisala plotted against Mongala and Democratic Republic of the Congo. The SNDi of new construction in Lisala peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Mongala which peaked in 1991-2005 and Democratic Republic of the Congo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Lisala's incremental SNDi fell from 3.26 to 2.11 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Lisala and Sahjanwa both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Yantian District fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Lisala grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Yantian District became progressively more disconnected and Sahjanwa grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Lisala and Yantian District have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
