The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Musumba plotted against Lualaba and Democratic Republic of the Congo. The SNDi of new construction in Musumba rose steadily, compared to Lualaba which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Democratic Republic of the Congo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Musumba's incremental SNDi rose from 5.18 to 7.85 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Musumba ranked 6th out of 11 cities in Lualaba and 77th out of 186 in Democratic Republic of the Congo as of 2020.

In new street additions, Musumba built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Xunxian built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Кондратово fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Musumba and Кондратово both became progressively more disconnected, while Xunxian grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Musumba and Xunxian have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
