The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Tshibinda plotted against Kasaï and Democratic Republic of the Congo. All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Tshibinda's incremental SNDi rose from 5.33 to 6.08 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Tshibinda ranked 9th out of 10 cities in Kasaï and 166th out of 186 in Democratic Republic of the Congo as of 2020.

In new street additions, Tshibinda fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Qaryat Imam ash Asharqi built increasingly connected streets over time and Ibamba built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Tshibinda and Ibamba both became progressively more disconnected, while Qaryat Imam ash Asharqi became progressively more connected. Notably, Tshibinda had a more connected network than Qaryat Imam ash Asharqi in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
