The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bouaflé plotted against Sassandra-Marahoué and Côte d'Ivoire. The SNDi of new construction in Bouaflé rose steadily, compared to Sassandra-Marahoué which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Côte d'Ivoire which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bouaflé's incremental SNDi rose from 3.14 to 4.05 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bouaflé ranked 6th out of 7 cities in Sassandra-Marahoué and 19th out of 39 in Côte d'Ivoire as of 2020.

In new street additions, Bouaflé built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Jolo fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Sheiria fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Bouaflé and Jolo both became progressively more disconnected, while Sheiria fluctuated in connectivity. Bouaflé and Sheiria have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
