What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Piedecuesta fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Dompu built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Jiawang built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Piedecuesta and Dompu both became progressively more disconnected, while Jiawang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Piedecuesta and Dompu have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
