The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Zhenhai District plotted against Zhejiang and China. The SNDi of new construction in Zhenhai District peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Zhejiang which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Zhenhai District built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Hernandarias fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Al Hoceima built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Hernandarias and Al Hoceima both became progressively more disconnected, while Zhenhai District grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Zhenhai District and Hernandarias have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
