In new street additions, Yuanqiao fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Mechelen built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Francisco Beltrão built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Mechelen and Francisco Beltrão both became progressively more disconnected, while Yuanqiao became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Notably, Yuanqiao had a more sprawly network than Francisco Beltrão in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
