The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Qingtian plotted against Zhejiang and China. The SNDi of new construction in Qingtian rose steadily, compared to Zhejiang which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Qingtian's incremental SNDi rose from 4.72 to 5.28 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Qingtian ranked 99th out of 116 cities in Zhejiang and 1674th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

While Qingan and Oyama both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Qingtian built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Qingtian and Oyama both became progressively more disconnected, while Qingan fluctuated in connectivity.
