The SNDi of new construction in Yuanjiang peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Yunnan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Yuanjiang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Gasa fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Chimyon built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Yuanjiang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Gasa fluctuated in connectivity and Chimyon became progressively more disconnected. Yuanjiang and Gasa have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
