The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Weixin plotted against Yunnan and China. The SNDi of new construction in Weixin peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Yunnan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Weixin's incremental SNDi fell from 2.71 to 2.46 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Weixin ranked 17th out of 78 cities in Yunnan and 509th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

While Madhupur and Yagoua both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Weixin built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved in new street additions. For the full network, Weixin grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Madhupur became progressively more disconnected and Yagoua fluctuated in connectivity. Weixin and Madhupur have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
