- Sénou, Mali
- Tindivanam, India
- Santa Rosa, United States
- Lázaro Cárdenas, México

While Sénou and Lázaro Cárdenas both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Lincang built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Lincang and Sénou have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
