The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Gasa plotted against Yunnan and China. The SNDi of new construction in Gasa followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Yunnan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Gasa's incremental SNDi fell from 3.93 to 3.71 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Gasa fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Ali Khel built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Yuanjiang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Gasa fluctuated in connectivity, while Ali Khel became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Yuanjiang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Gasa and Ali Khel have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
