In new street additions, Xiqu District fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Karanja built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Zhiying built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Xiqu District fluctuated in connectivity, while Karanja became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Zhiying became progressively more connected. Xiqu District and Zhiying have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
