What about similarly populated cities?
While Godhra and Aswan both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Neijiang built increasingly connected streets over time in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Godhra and Aswan both became progressively more disconnected, while Neijiang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Neijiang had a more sprawly network than Godhra in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
