All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Fushun's incremental SNDi rose from 1.39 to 1.8 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Fushun ranked 2nd out of 98 cities in Sichuan and 69th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Fushun and Zixing both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Yingde built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Fushun fluctuated in connectivity, while Zixing became progressively more disconnected and Yingde grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Fushun and Zixing have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
