The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Anyue plotted against Sichuan and China. The SNDi of new construction in Anyue rose steadily, compared to Sichuan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Anyue's incremental SNDi rose from 4.78 to 5.05 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Anyue ranked 82nd out of 98 cities in Sichuan and 1682nd out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Anyue built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Torremolinos built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Xietang built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Anyue and Torremolinos both became progressively more disconnected, while Xietang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Anyue and Torremolinos have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
