The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Yuncheng plotted against Shandong and China. The SNDi of new construction in Yuncheng followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Shandong which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Yuncheng's incremental SNDi fell from 1.73 to 1.6 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Yuncheng ranked 10th out of 124 cities in Shandong as of 2020.

While Mallanwan and Chilakaluripet both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Yuncheng fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. For the full network, Yuncheng became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Mallanwan grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Chilakaluripet became progressively more disconnected. Yuncheng and Chilakaluripet have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
