In new street additions, Wucheng built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Wugong built increasingly connected streets over time and Iludun built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Wucheng and Iludun both became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Wugong became progressively more connected. Wucheng and Wugong have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
