While Shandong and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Junan's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Junan and Xiping both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kalka built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Junan became progressively more disconnected, while Xiping fluctuated in connectivity and Kalka became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards.
