The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Boxing plotted against Shandong and China. The SNDi of new construction in Boxing peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Shandong which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Boxing's incremental SNDi fell from 3.0 to 2.75 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Boxing and Hong'an both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Mandi Gobindgarh built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Boxing grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Hong'an grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Mandi Gobindgarh became progressively more disconnected. Boxing and Mandi Gobindgarh have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
