The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Yulin plotted against Shaanxi and China. The SNDi of new construction in Yulin followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Shaanxi which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Yulin's incremental SNDi fell from 3.13 to 2.51 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. For the full network, Yulin fluctuated in connectivity, while Bozhou grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Kurnool became progressively more disconnected. Yulin and Bozhou have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
