The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Lintong plotted against Shaanxi and China. While Shaanxi and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Lintong's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Lintong's incremental SNDi rose from 3.1 to 3.83 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Lintong ranked 43rd out of 62 cities in Shaanxi and 1178th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Lintong and Guarapuava both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Banjari built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Lintong and Guarapuava both became progressively more disconnected, while Banjari grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Lintong and Guarapuava have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
