The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Hanzhong plotted against Shaanxi and China. While Shaanxi and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Hanzhong's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Hanzhong's incremental SNDi rose from 2.97 to 3.2 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Hanzhong ranked 25th out of 62 cities in Shaanxi and 712th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Hanzhong and Huancayo both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Masetjhaba View built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Hanzhong and Huancayo both became progressively more disconnected, while Masetjhaba View grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, Hanzhong had a more connected network than Huancayo in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
