In new street additions, Gaoling built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Carpi built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Nanma fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Gaoling and Carpi both became progressively more disconnected, while Nanma fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Gaoling had a more connected network than Carpi in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
