The SNDi of new construction in Chengguan peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Shaanxi which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Chengguan built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Fengshun fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Itabuna built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Chengguan grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Fengshun fluctuated in connectivity and Itabuna became progressively more disconnected. Chengguan and Fengshun have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
