The SNDi of new construction in Xilinhot peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Nei Mongol which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Xilinhot's incremental SNDi fell from 3.24 to 2.74 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Xilinhot built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Buxar built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Buldhana built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. Looking at the full network, Buxar and Buldhana both became progressively more disconnected, while Xilinhot grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Xilinhot and Buxar have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
