The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Manzhouli plotted against Nei Mongol and China. The SNDi of new construction in Manzhouli peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Nei Mongol which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Manzhouli's incremental SNDi fell from 2.83 to 2.11 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. For the full network, Manzhouli and Hachinohe both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Pulandian became progressively more disconnected. Manzhouli and Pulandian have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
