All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. In new street additions, Yingkou and Yiyang both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Liaoyang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Yingkou became progressively more connected, while Liaoyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Yiyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Yingkou and Liaoyang have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
