The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Teng'ao plotted against Liaoning and China. The SNDi of new construction in Teng'ao peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Liaoning which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Teng'ao's incremental SNDi fell from 4.19 to 3.43 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Teng'ao built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Valence built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Kamisee built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Teng'ao grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Valence became progressively more disconnected and Kamisee became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Teng'ao and Kamisee have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
