The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Pulandian plotted against Liaoning and China. The SNDi of new construction in Pulandian rose steadily, compared to Liaoning which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Pulandian's incremental SNDi rose from 3.55 to 3.62 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Pulandian ranked 49th out of 61 cities in Liaoning and 1266th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Pulandian and Naples both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Manzhouli built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Pulandian and Naples both became progressively more disconnected, while Manzhouli grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Pulandian and Naples have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
