The SNDi of new construction in Yitong peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Jilin which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Yitong's incremental SNDi fell from 6.67 to 5.63 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Yitong built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Khair fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Sanchahe fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Yitong became progressively more disconnected, while Khair fluctuated in connectivity and Sanchahe fluctuated in connectivity. Yitong and Khair have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
