In new street additions, Shuangyang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Chungju-si fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Nanling built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Chungju-si and Nanling both became progressively more disconnected, while Shuangyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, Shuangyang had a more sprawly network than Nanling in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
