What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Linjiang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Karhal fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Terni built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Linjiang and Terni both became progressively more disconnected, while Karhal fluctuated in connectivity. Linjiang and Karhal have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
