What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Dongfeng built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Venice fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Mampong built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Dongfeng and Mampong both became progressively more disconnected, while Venice became progressively more connected. Dongfeng and Venice have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
