The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Dehui plotted against Jilin and China. While Jilin and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Dehui's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Dehui's incremental SNDi rose from 3.62 to 3.71 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Dehui ranked 32nd out of 47 cities in Jilin and 1193rd out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Dehui fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Xugou fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Logroño built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Dehui and Logroño both became progressively more disconnected, while Xugou fluctuated in connectivity. Dehui and Xugou have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
