The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Xingguo plotted against Jiangxi and China. While Jiangxi and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Xingguo's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Xingguo's incremental SNDi rose from 2.64 to 3.27 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Xingguo ranked 39th out of 82 cities in Jiangxi and 743rd out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Xingguo fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Udaynarayanpur fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and N'dalatando built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Xingguo and N'dalatando both became progressively more disconnected, while Udaynarayanpur became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Xingguo and Udaynarayanpur have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
