The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Tubu plotted against Jiangxi and China. While Jiangxi and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Tubu's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Tubu's incremental SNDi rose from 2.76 to 3.95 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Tubu ranked 63rd out of 82 cities in Jiangxi and 1208th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Tubu and Scranton both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Ilishan built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Tubu and Ilishan have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
